Join us for group Skills Sessions!

RAD Skills Sessions are designed to teach you the skills required to improve your riding techniques, and progress to meet your goals for this adventure sport.

This is an opportunity for you to work on skills with certified Level 2 Mountain Bike Instructors.

Our ratios are maximum 6 riders : 1 instructor

2 Day Downhill Mountain Biking Camp

YOUTH Ages 10-14

Who is this for? Confident riders that have shown proficiency with Beginner to Intermediate technique

Topics to be covered include Intro to Drops, Jumps, Advanced Cornering Through Berms

  • Thursday, July 24th and Friday, July 25th, 2025

    • 10am-12pm - Skills

    • Break for Lunch - please pack one or purchase at Slope Side

    • 1-3pm - Practice on trails*

Meeting Location:

Poley Bike Park, Waterford @ Base of Lodge

Please note, you are responsible for your own trail access ticket or membership:

Required at Poley Bike Park - Day Ticket or Season Pass to access Skills Area & Trails

*Please note: Instructors will assess each rider’s downhill skills prior to progressing from the skills area for practice on trails.

Required Safety Equipment for Poley Bike Park:

Helmet; Knee & Elbow Pads; Full-finger gloves

Mountain bike in good working order

We also require the riders to be able to carry their own water in either a bottle cage on their frame or in a backpack.

Please arrive ready to ride at least 15 minutes prior and check-in with our Team. If you are running late, your Leader might already have departed for the trail.

Be sure to sign our electronic Release Agreement before you arrive and review our Cancellation Policy and Ride Ready pages to arrive prepared

Please note, this Skills Session requires a minimum number of participants to run. We reserve the right to cancel the Session.
