FAQs

Q Is this beginner friendly!?

A You Bet! This event is meant for all skill levels from beginner to advanced.

Q Will there be opportunities for progression for more experienced riders?!

A You Bet! We will have a variety of optional skill sessions ($) for you to choose from if you would like to work with one of our Coaches

Q Is this a Skills Clinic? Nope. You can however, decide to work with one of our certified Coaches who will be offering optional Skills Sessions ($) not included with Registration

Q What does Women+ mean?

A This event is for significantly female-identified people. We use an inclusive definition of “woman” and “female” and we welcome trans women, genderqueer women, and non-binary people who are significantly female-identified.

Q Will the Coaches be Women+ for the optional Coaching Add-Ons ($)?

A Most, yes! We also welcome male-identified Coaches that share our ethos to be part of our amazing team

Q Which trails will we be riding?

A Whatever you like that Poley Bike Park opens - green to black - just remember to ride within your skill level as per the Mountain’s safety code

Q What is the minimum age to participate?

A This is a 19+ event.

Q Can I stay off-site and still participate?

A Absolutely! Just let us know in your registration

Q I don’t know anyone else going, should I participate?

A Absolutely! We have had many many riders join us as ‘alone’, and they usually leave with a huggable armful of new friends that they end up road tripping with season after season!

Q Why is the price the price it is?

A We are the first to take on mountain biking events like this, and we are still 25-75% cheaper than all the companies west of the Atlantic region offering the same type of events. We try to keep the pricing as low as possible without under-valuing the hard work of our team and local hosts.

Q If I can’t go, can I transfer my registration to a friend?

A Yes, you can swap in a friend if you can’t attend. Otherwise, we can’t issue refunds.

Q Can I bring my pet?

A We love a good fur-baby, but this event is for their humans only.

Q Should I bring cash or card?

A Either will be accepted for purchasing merch from the vendors on site.

Q Is there access to washrooms? showers?

A Yes, the facility has washrooms, but no showers.
